This is how we at Appalachia & Beyond are able to continue publishing this blog, offer cool prizes from time to time for giveaways, etc. There are some affiliate links placed on the site that we make money off of any time a reader clicks on them and then purchases something from the retailer. The retailer pays us a small commission directly and not the reader.
